Katie McClure

Katie McClure is not just a stylist but a seasoned expert in the field, with a career spanning over two decades. Her journey began in 2001 as an apprentice under the guidance of Ray Claery in Bethesda, MD. For 19 years, Katie flourished as an Aveda stylist, imbibing the ethos of environmental consciousness and holistic wellness that the brand champions.

Katie embarked on a new chapter in her career in 2019 by opening her own space at Salon Lofts in The Collection, Chevy Chase. There, she continued to uphold the values instilled in her during her formative years with Aveda. In her newest salon, Katie feels what's good for the environment is intrinsically linked to what's good for her clients' well-being and beauty. She selects products and partners with companies that share her commitment to environmental sustainability, wellness, and beauty. Through her work, she not only transforms her clients' appearances but also advocates for a more conscious and eco-friendly approach to beauty.

Courtney M. Buras

With 14+ years of experience in the skincare industry, Courtney takes pride in providing each of her clients with a unique skincare experience tailored specifically to his or her own needs. As a long-term sufferer of teen and adult acne, she is passionate about helping others with their own skincare problems.

Her career journey began at the Esthetic Institute in Vienna, VA. In pursuit of a Master Esthetics License she attended the Dermal Science International Academy in Reston, VA. Both schools are accredited by NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences).

Courtney believes in using all-natural products as an effective long-term solution for healthy beautiful skin. Her focus is on Acne and problematic skin is accredited by an Acne Specialist Certification from the Face Reality Acne Clinic. She has also obtained a Beauty Nutrition Certification to inform clients on the role that nutrition plays with skin care.
